📋 Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using MySpecialKid. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About the App
My Special Kid is a therapy progress tracking application for parents and guardians of children with autism or special needs. The App allows you to log therapy sessions, track goals, manage therapist notes, and monitor your child's progress.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
- You must be a parent or legal guardian responsible for the child whose data you enter.
- By using the App, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal right to enter data on behalf of your child.
3. Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at hello@myspecialkid.com.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free App & AI Subscription
4.1 Free Access
MySpecialKid is free to download and use. Core features — including the dashboard, session logging, goal tracking, smart reminders, cloud sync, and PDF export — are available to all users at no cost. No credit card is required to use the App.
4.2 AI Premium Subscription
Advanced AI-powered features are available through an optional paid subscription:
- India: ₹169/month — auto-renewing
- Worldwide: $1.99/month — auto-renewing
- AI features include: AI goal tracking & predictions, behaviour pattern AI, auto-generated AI reports, AI therapy insights, and unlimited AI analysis.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
- AI subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- The renewal charge is applied within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling the AI subscription does not delete your account — you retain free access to all core app features.
- Prices are subject to change with prior notice.
4.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your AI subscription at any time through your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You will continue to have access to AI features until the period ends, after which you retain free access to all core features.
4.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not directly process or control refunds.
4.6 Apple Required Disclosure
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your account settings on the App Store after purchase. The app is free to download; AI Premium is an optional in-app subscription.
4.7 Restore Purchases
If you have previously subscribed to AI Premium and reinstall the App or change devices, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the App to recover your subscription.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or hack any part of the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others
6. Not a Medical Tool
Important Disclaimer: MySpecialKid is a therapy progress tracking and organisation tool — it is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or clinical service. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or licensed therapist for medical advice.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, and features of the App are owned by MySpecialKid and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
- We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, internet issues, or events outside our control.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
